The first Appreciative Practices in Health Care Conference will be held in Charlottesville, Va., June 13-15, 2013. This  conference features Diana Whitney, PhD, an internationally-recognized expert in the field of Appreciative Inquiry, and the faculty of the UVA Center for Appreciative Practice, who have emerged as leaders in adapting appreciative practices to health care. The conference format is highly-interactive, allowing for significant interaction with the expert faculty, and will demonstrate application of appreciative practices to individual practice, interprofessional teamwork and patient care. Registration is open to physicians as well as other health care professionals and health care teams. This meeting has been accredited for 15.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™.
