Dr. Thomas Robert Glasco, 85, of Liberty passed away on December 30, 2017 at Edgewood Place, Burlington, NC.

He was a native of Grayson County, Va., and served as captain in the US Army. He earned his undergraduate degree from Roanoke College and obtained his Doctor of Medicine Degree from The University of Virginia. Dr. Glasco operated a General Practice in Liberty for 26 years, retiring in 1993.

He was the son of the late Thomas Marie and Mary Carico Glasco and was also preceded in death by his wife, Mary Helen Cline Glasco; sons, Thomas Robert Glasco, Jr. and Jonathon Lee Glasco and sister, Gladys Jewell Glasco.

Dr. Glasco is survived by daughters, Mary Rebecca Murray and husband, Craig Murray and Heather Glasco Allen and husband, Randall Keith Allen; son, Craig Glasco and wife, Melissa Glasco; 10 grandchildren and sister, Mary Ann Lingerfelt.
