The UVA Medical Alumni Association Ambassador Club was established to enhance the relationships between students and alumni of the University of Virginia School of Medicine, to involve students in the planning and execution of MAA events and services, and to assist the MAA in its ultimate mission of supporting the School of Medicine.  The Ambassador Club is comprised of current students and we welcome any student who wishes to join (no application or interview necessary).  The members attend and volunteer at MAA events, brainstorm and establish new initiatives for the student body, and act as ambassadors to alumni when the opportunity arises (i.e. alumni events, donor thank-a-thons, MAA servies for constituents, and virtual communications).

The club is led by the current student representative to the MAA Board of Directors, and a MAA staff member provides project ideas, organizes club members, and puts into action the decisions of the Club.
