Devin D. Mackay, MD ’09, is the founding director of Neuro-Ophthalmology at Indiana University since 2014 and was recently promoted to associate professor of neurology, ophthalmology, and clinical neurosurgery. He enjoys clinical neuro-ophthalmology and teaching medical students and neurology and ophthalmology residents and serves as assistant director of the neurology clerkship at Indiana University School of Medicine.

Mackay was selected for induction to the Gold Humanism Honor Society as a medical student at UVA, and in 2019 he was inducted as a faculty member at IUSM, an honor extended to four IUSM teaching faculty members each year.

The most important part of his life continues to be his family, and he and his wife, Kristi, are looking forward to welcoming their sixth child to the family soon!
