Alumnus Frederick H. Lovejoy, Jr., MD ’63, has published a book, “The Transformation of Pediatrics: How a Pediatric Department and Its Residency Influenced American Pediatrics.” A history of Boston Children’s Hospital, the book is available now on Amazon.

Dr. Lovejoy is associate physician-in-chief and deputy chair of the Department of Medicine at Boston Children’s Hospital. He has served there since his residency and directed the residency training program for 27 years.
