Laura Dabinett, MD ‘86, received the 2019 Jim Wilmot Humanitarian Award for service to the people of Haiti from the Community Coalition for Haiti. Since 2014, she has traveled to Jacmel at least biannually with clinical and surgical teams. She has treated hundreds of Haitian women and provided clinical teaching for Haitian and American health care students.
