Rachel C. Toney, MD, a gastroenterology specialist at Allegheny Health Network, received the 2018 Rising Star award from Gateway Medical Society on October 27, 2018 in Pittsburgh. The award recognizes physicians and health care professionals who are early in their careers and have demonstrated leadership in the areas of community health and the reduction of health care disparities as well as clinical excellence.
