Timothy Johnson, MD ’75, was recognized by the University of Michigan after 24 years as department chair by the endowment of the Timothy R B Johnson MD Professorship in Global Women’s Health in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Johnson is a member of the Society of Scholars of the Johns Hopkins University and a member of the National Academy of Medicine. He is still teaching, writing, and seeing high risk patients for preconception care, and he is grateful for his UVA medical education.
