William T. Sheahan, MD, is the author of “A Doc Who Jots: The More You Know About Your Patient’s Story.”

Sheahan is a board certified family physician. The book is his fourth collection of unique, uplifting or funny patient encounters. He’s happily married, a father, and when not at work enjoys family time (especially game nights), reading, writing, exercise, sports and travel.

Proceeds from the book will be donated to the Fisher House Foundation. The Fisher House Foundation builds comfort homes at Military and VA Medical Centers so families can stay free of charge while a loved-one is in the hospital receiving treatment.
