27th Biennial Muller-Jones Surgical Society Meeting and Resident Research Day (Postponed)
Update from the Muller-Jones Surgical Society:
After consulting with the UVA Medical Alumni Association, we have made the difficult decision to postpone this year’s event. This decision was made in order to ensure public health and safety and to comply with University policy, the governor’s executive orders, and public health guidelines. This is obviously disappointing news, but with several effective vaccines now available, we are hopeful that we’ll be together again in Charlottesville soon.
In the coming months, we will be announcing plans for our next gathering. Stay tuned for more details.
On a brighter note, the MJSS, with the leadership of current UVA surgery residents Adriana Ramirez and Amy Cohee, will be launching a virtual Muller-Jones Surgical Society Alumni Speaker Series for the residents this winter and spring. The series runs from February 10 – May 5. You can view the events here.
