Alumni, parents, and friends are invited to a special online conversation with Bret Stetka, MD ’05, and Jim Mandell, MD, Res ’96, Fel ’98, as they discuss the evolution of the human brain.

During this virtual event, Dr. Bret Stetka, author of the recently released book, “A History of the Human Brain” will talk with his former medical school mentor, UVA professor and neuropathologist Dr. Jim Mandell, about everything from early life forms, to how mammals and primates evolved, and what our brain might have in store as technologies like CRISPR literally allow us to edit our genomes.
