Charles Jack Winfrey,76, of Inwood, passed away Friday, August 25, 2023.

Born on November 13, 1946 in Martinsburg, he was the son of (the late) Charles Robert Winfrey and Lois Eunice Walsh Winfrey Doganieri.

He was of the Catholic faith.

Charles earned his MD at UVA and his MHA at VCU. He worked as a psychiatrist at the VA Medical Center.

He is survived by his wife, Colette Ann Leary Winfrey, at home; two sons, Sean P. Winfrey, and Chad A. Winfrey; three daughters, Manda L. Sexton, Morgan J. Winfrey, and Katie Winfrey; one brother, Cary Winfrey; and one sister, Suzanne Chunn.
