Glenn will be most remembered as a fiercely loyal and loving father to his five surviving children, Teresa, Josh, Sarah, Laura and Amy, and to their families. He is also survived by his former wife and friend, Sharon Lansford, and his sister, Vera Phillips.

In his early years, Glenn graduated from Virginia Military Institute and continued on to receive his medical degree from University of Virginia. He achieved the rank of Captain as a military physician before and during the Vietnam war, treating soldiers who were injured in the conflict. After the army, he went on to touch and save many lives as an ER Physician. Glenn moved to Montana with his family in the late 80s and considered the Missoula area home for more than 30 years. He was an avid animal lover and outdoor enthusiast who lived for adventures as a pilot and former Eagle Scout. His fighting spirit and kindness will be missed by all who encountered him.
