LegacyConnect
LegacyConnect* is a program for our alumni, former housestaff and faculty members with children who are interested in applying to the UVA School of Medicine. We are excited to support our constituents who hope to further their family’s legacy at the UVA School of Medicine. This program is the perfect opportunity for your son or daughter to help determine if a UVA White Coat is the right fit for them.
Program participants will:
- Be paired with a UVA Medical Alumni Association and Medical School Foundation representative to facilitate a visit and the overall LegacyConnect experience.
- Learn more about admissions criteria and statistics on the current student population.
- Tour the grounds of the medical school and health system, including state-of-the-art areas of the Claude Moore Medical Education Building.
The optimal time to take advantage of LegacyConnect is the summer after the freshman (first) year of undergraduate education. However, we welcome constituents and students of any age for a visit any time of the year.
Please fill out the LegacyConnect Program Inquiry Form if you are interested in taking part in, or learning more about, the program. You will be contacted within five business days by a UVA Medical Alumni Association and Medical School Foundation representative.
* LegacyConnect is a program offered solely by the UVA Medical Alumni Association and Medical School Foundation, with support and cooperation from the Office of Admissions. Legacy status does not factor into a student’s likelihood for acceptance into the UVA School of Medicine. *
