Established in 1991 from the Estate of Katherine Howell. Although from New Jersey, Ms. Howell developed a love for Virginia during many summers spent in Goshen with her mother. Although Ms. Howell did not have a college education, she was a staunch supporter of medical education. Scholarships are provided on the basis of need.
