Established June 30, 2023, the income of the fund shall be used to provide scholarships to graduate students enrolled in the School of Medicine and the Batten School, alternating each year between the Schools. It is the donor’s preference that the scholarship be awarded to students from the Central Virginia region. Central Virginia is defined as the region south of Culpeper and north of Farmville, east of Lexington and west of Goochland. The first scholarship awarded during academic year 2023-24.
