A new guided tour of the UVA Health Orthopedic Center takes an in-depth look at the comprehensive, state-of-the-art facility. The video showcases the exam rooms, operating rooms, surgery support and imaging services, food service area, administrative offices, bioskills lab, therapy center, and more.

The center opened in February 2022 and unites all of UVA Orthopedics’ outpatient clinics, meaning patients who have sustained multiple injuries can receive care from various specialists under one roof.

The center was the vision of alumnus Bobby Chhabra, MD ’95, Res ’01. Chhabra is the Lillian T. Pratt Distinguished Professor and Chair of the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery and the David A. Harrison Distinguished Educator at the University of Virginia.  He has served as chair of the UVA Department of Orthopaedic Surgery since 2013. He is also the director of the UVA Health Orthopaedic Center and is a team physician for the UVA Department of Athletics.
