Alexander Hawkins, MD ‘08, represented the American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons as the traveling fellow at the Association of Coloproctology of Great Britain and Ireland (ACPGBI) Annual Meeting in June 2024. Hawkins is an associate professor of surgery, vice chair for clinical research, and director of the Colorectal Research Center at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
