Ed Sabanegh, MD ’85 was recently selected to be the president and CEO of The Guthrie Clinic, a multi-hospital non-profit health system throughout upstate New York and Northern Pennsylvania.  He leads a team of 7,000 caregivers who high quality care to 1.5 million patients a year in an area covering over 9,000 square miles. Sabanegh continues to be a practicing urologic surgeon with over 150 peer reviewed publications and has authored four books. He has a faculty appointment as professor of surgery at the Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine.
