Laura C. Page, MD ’11, recently received recognition from The Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) during its Annual Educational Conference, recognizing noteworthy achievements from a wide range of talented graduate medical education professionals. Page was one of six recipeints of The David C. Leach Award, which recognizes residents and fellows who have fostered innovation and improvement in their residency programs, advanced humanism in medicine, and increased efficiency and emphasis on educational outcomes.

Page, an assistant professor of pediatrics at Duke University School of Medicine, is the co-director of the Duke Pediatric Comprehensive Thyroid Clinic. A pediatric endocrinologist, she cares for children with diabetes and other hormone disorders.
