On June 30, Dr. Stafford retired from the St. Elizabeth Family Medicine Residency in Edgewood, Ky., where he had served as program director since 2014. He completed his family medicine residency in 1984 at Roanoke Memorial Hospital and practiced in community health clinics in East Tennessee and Northern Kentucky before joining St. Elizabeth’s faculty in 2001. He obtained his CAQ in geriatric medicine in 1988.
