The UVA Medical Alumni Association invites all medical students and housestaff to attend this MoneyTalks session. A pizza dinner will be provided before the presentation, beginning at 4:30.

The presenter will be Kendra Stribling, a CPA from Hantzmon-Wiebel.

Topics will include:

  • Basic tax information: how to file, withholding, W2s, what is a credit, what is a deduction
  • Recent changes to tax law
  • Important topics for students: credits/deductions, 1098T, moving expenses after graduation
