Preparing for Online Interviews, Session 2
The UVA Medical Alumni Association invites to you join us for one of our upcoming “Preparing for Online Interview” sessions with Susan Modesitt, MD ’95. During these sessions, Dr. Modesitt will cover interview preparation techniques, dos and don’ts of interviewing and more. There will also be an opportunity for live Q&A. Registration is required.
The sessions will be:
- Wednesday, September 2 at 12 p.m.
- Thursday, September 3 at 6 p.m.
About Dr. Modesitt
Dr. Susan C. Modesitt is the Director of the Gynecologic Oncology Division and the Director of the High Risk Breast/Ovarian Cancer clinic at the University of Virginia. She is also the Richard and Louise Crockett endowed Professor in Obstetrics and Gynecology. She completed her undergraduate degree at Emory University, medical school at the University of Virginia, her OB/GYN residency at the University of North Carolina and her Gynecologic Oncology fellowship at the M.D. Anderson Cancer Center. She was on faculty at the University of Kentucky until she was recruited back to join the faculty at UVA and she became the Division Director in 2007.
She has been interviewing resident candidates since last century and has done so at four different institutions. Dr. Modesitt has also been interviewing fellowship candidates since 2000 and has served on the UVA School of Medicine Admissions Committee, interviewing prospective students.
