The UVA Medical Alumni Association is moving forward with our spring events, including rescheduled class reunions and the inaugural Black Medical Alumni Weekend. More than 400 people have already registered for the events below! Follow these links for online registration, hotel information, a list of Hoos Attending and more:
- Class of 1966 Reunion: March 29-31
- Class of 1981 Reunion Weekend: April 1-3
- Black Medical Alumni Weekend: April 8-10
- Classes of 1996 and 2001 Reunion Weekend: April 22-24
- Medical School Reunion Weekend: April 29-May 1 (Classes of 1967, 1972, 1977, 1982, 1987, 1992, 1997, and 2002, plus rescheduled milestone reunions for Classes of 1961, 1965, 1970, 1971, 1976, 1980, 1986 and 1990)

Horsley Prize Deadline
April 15 is the deadline for this year’s John Horsley Memorial Prize, which recognizes an investigation carried out in the lab, clinic, or in private practice by a recent graduate of the UVA School of Medicine or current UVA housestaff and includes a $5,000 cash prize. MORE

For her accomplishments as a leader in academic medicine and her efforts to improve the training of surgeons, Barbara Lee Bass, MD ’79, has been selected as the University of Virginia’s 2022 Distinguished Alumna. MORE
