MD Alumni from classes ending in 3 and 8: It’s your reunion year!

• April 28-30: Classes of 1958, 1963, 1968, 1973, 1978, 1983, 1988, 1993, 1998, 2003 (registration is now open)
• Sept. 22-24: Classes of 2008, 2013, 2018 (registration opens this summer)

Student-Alumni Networking

The UVA Medical Alumni Association recently hosted a student-alumni networking event at the UVA Medicine Inova Campus, bringing together Pinn College students (SMD’25, SMD’24 and SMD’23) and local alumni in Northern Virginia. Savitri Fedson, MD ’96, MA, is a professor of medicine and clinical ethics at the Michael E. DeBakey Houston VA Medical Center and the Center for Medical Ethics and Health Policy at Baylor College of Medicine. In 2022, she co-authored new recommendations for the prevention, diagnoses, and management of patients with heart failure.
