Bonnie F. Offit, MD ’87

The UVA Medical Alumni Association is pleased to recognize Bonnie F. Offit, MD ’87, with the 2018 Outstanding Medical Alumnus Award.

Dr. Offit is a 1987 alumna of the University of Virginia School of Medicine. She joined the UVA Medical Alumni Association Board of Directors in 2012. Since then, she has served as a director (2012-2016), president-elect (2016-2017) and president (2017-2018).

During Dr. Offit’s tenure on the Board of Directors, she was involved with many committees and chaired both the Alumni Relations Committee and the Alumni Awards Selection Committee.

Dr. Offit has also been a supporter of current medical students, volunteering for the MedConnect program to talk about her career in pediatrics, as well as hosting students in her home as part of the Host Program.
