Reunion Celebrations
In March and April, the UVA Medical Alumni Association held long-awaited reunions for alumni in 20 classes! Thank you to everyone who joined us in Charlottesville. More than 700 alumni and guests participated in these events. It was great to see everyone!
This fall, we look forward to welcoming back alumni from the Classes of 2007 – 2021 for Recent Grads Weekend, September 23-25. Registration will open this summer.

2022 Alumni Awards
Nominations are now open for our 2022 alumni awards. In addition to the Walter Reed Distinguished Achievement Award, the MD Early Achievement Award, and the Distinguished Achievement Award in Biomedical Sciences, we have added two new awards: the Early Achievement Award in Biomedical Sciences and the Humanitarian Award. The deadline to submit a nomination is July 31, 2022. MORE
Black Medical Alumni Weekend
The UVA Medical Alumni Association recently hosted the first-ever Black Medical Alumni Weekend, welcoming back 85 alumni, students and guests to Grounds for a weekend of celebration, reconnection and recognition. MORE
Match Day
On March 18, the UVA School of Medicine’s Class of 2022 learned where they will continue their training as residents at hospitals across the country, including UVA Medical Center. This was the first in-person Match Day celebration at UVA since March 2019. MORE

Check out Medicine in Motion, a new online publication from the Office of Dean Melina Kibbe, MD, of the UVA School of Medicine. It’s a great source for news about the School, including research, faculty recognition, and community engagement, as well as alumni activities. MORE
